The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors Visiting to China Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and Agents
On the morning of May 26th, 2025, Sr LEUNG Chi Tim Robin, President of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (hereinafter referred to as “HKIS”) led a delegation of 20 people visiting to China Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and Agents (hereinafter referred to as “CIREA”). Dr. Chai Qiang, President of CIREA, and Mr. Zhao Xinming, Vice-President and Secretary-General of CIREA warmly welcomed the delegation and held discussions with them.
During the meeting, the delegation introduced its development history, legal status, organisational structure, membership status, main tasks and responsibilities, and shared the professional role it plays in the formulation of land, housing, and construction policies in Hong Kong, as well as its relevant exchanges and cooperation with the mainland. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the development of the mainland and Hong Kong real estate markets, the commercial housing sales system, the development of the real estate appraisal industry, and ESG service technical guidelines. Both sides agreed that they would continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation in the future and jointly promote the high-quality development of the real estate appraisal industry in the mainland and Hong Kong.
Past President Sr Francis Lam, Sr Chiu Kam Kuen, Vice-President Sr Paul Tsui, Chairman of Building Surveying Division, General Practice Division, Land Surveying Division, Quantity Surveying Division, Planning & Development Division, Property & Facility Management Division, Young Surveyors Group, head of Beijing and Guangzhou Council of HKIS, Vice-Secretary-General Liu Dongning, Wang Huan and staffs from the Secretariat of CIREA also attended the meeting.
